Lopez y Lopez

The Lopez y Lopez monument itself was altered in 2018, due to Lopez’s history as a slave owner in the Caribbean. There are stains of fake blood still visible on the stone and in the cracks of the steps, blood that thrown to signify the disgust of the monument of a man that benefited from the murder of many.
